My name is Vânia Colaço, I am a Colored Pencil Portrait Artist.
I like to explore expression and color in portraits.
Music and art inspire me.
I’m on a quest for my own form of contemporary realism with colored pencils.

Bio

My name is Vânia Catarina Roldão Colaço, I was born and raised in Marinha Grande, Portugal (1980).
Studied a Degree in Equipment Design in Coimbra, Portugal (1999-2005) and Master in Commercial Management and Marketing in Madrid, Spain (2011).
I lived in Madrid between 2007 and 2020, where in 2011 I co-founded AVISPA, a Corporate Communication Design studio.
I have more than 20 exhibitions in cultural centers and art galleries. Currently reside in Marinha Grande where I continue to work in Design, while developing my artistic activity.
