Each portrait is unique and entails many hours of detailed work, done only with the best fine arts materials. I like to discuss each comission work with the client to understand expections and better envision the apropriate way to approach it.

Notes about commissions

  • PHOTOS
    The better the photo, the better the portrait. Please choose a large clear photo that shows your personality. No small, blurry, blown-out photos. To enquire, you can email me several photographs for selection and we can decide together.
  • BACKGROUNDS
    I don’t normally do backgrounds as I prefer the focus to be on the portrait, however, if you require a background please let me know beforehand.
  • SIZES
    Smaller sizes are ideal for portraits with a single subject. Medium and large sizes are best for portraits with multiple subjects. Your choice may depend on the number of subjects in your portrait and your budget.
  • MEDIUM
    I only work in colored pencil drawings. For examples of my work with that medium please refer to the WORK GALLERY (below).

Comission process

  • CONTACT ME
    Once you have an idea in mind, contact me through email. You can then send me some photos so I can review them and we can discuss details. On occasion, I can provide digital mock-ups so you can have a sense of the way I am going with the art. At this stage any questions or concerns you may have please let me know to make sure I can give the best possible artwork.
  • PORTRAIT PROGRESS
    Throughout the process, I will send a few “work in progress” photos of your portrait so you can see the progress throughout its stages of completion. If you want or permit me I might publish some of it on my social media (Unless you don’t want to make it public or it’s a surprise) Please feel free to ask questions throughout the work in progress stage.
  • PORTRAIT CONCLUSION
    Now that the portrait is completed, I will send you a photograph of the portrait for your approval. Only minor adjustments can be made during the final stage. As soon as you are satisfied with the completed portrait, I will send you an invoice for the final payment. Only after I receive payment, your portrait will then be securely wrapped, packaged, and shipped to you.

Pricing & Payment

  • PRICING
    My prices depend on the size of the portrait, the number of subjects, and whether you would like a more detailed approach. Each portrait takes many hours to complete, so multiple subjects, additional details, may affect the final price. (No surprise charges, we will always agree on it first) A lot of time goes into making sure you end up with exceptional custom artwork.
  • PAYMENT INFORMATION
    for 50% of the total balance, which I will require payment before beginning working on the portrait. The final 50% are due once the work is finished, and you’re satisfied with the result. (before shipping) Payments can be made through PayPal or Bank Transfer.
